ANNOUNCEMENTS

We have added two volunteers to the site - Heather and Tiffany! Thanks for your dedication to the site, ladies! We appreciate your help!

We are happy to announce that we have brought linkys back to the tours. Instead of posting your links to your reviews in the comments, please use the linky for the specific tour (when available). We are in the process of adding these to all tours (except closed ones), so if there isn't a linky, then please do use the comments to link your review. Thanks!

An Appeal for Books!

Hi everyone!  Jennifer here with an update.

With the holidays behind us, we hope to get everything back up to date with the tour site.  Over the next couple of weeks, we'll be going through all of the tours and sending out emails for any missing reviews and to check on the status of any books that are due to be mailed.  So, if you haven't posted a review or DC# yet, please do so.  Your cooperation in this process is appreciated.

With that said, Lori and I have spent oodles of our own money donating our own books and mailing them out for the tour site.  We've incurred a pretty hefty expense so we can share new and upcoming books with other bloggers, but we've come to the point where we just can't do it on our own anymore.  Personally, I've run into some financial strain recently and I have very limited funds to mail books out for the site.  So, if you have any ARCs or new books that you can donate to the site, please fill out the DONATE A BOOK request or send us an email.  It is greatly appreciated.

I really hesitate to do this because I don't want to run anyone off, but if you don't have any books to donate, but you can spare a dollar or two or three, we will be setting up a donation link to help us offset some of our mailing expenses.  If you can help us in that way, we would be forever grateful.  Lori and I have piles and piles of books that we could post on the site, but we just don't have the money to mail all of these books out.  So, any donation would be so helpful to us.

We want to keep this tour site going so we can continue to share books with each other, but we need your help to continue to do so.  If you have any questions or would like to talk to us about this, please send us an email.

With thanks,
Jennifer

I will try to help you all out when I can. I may have a book or two I can donate in the near future. As far as money goes, I'll have to see. I'm in a bit of a financial pickle myself, as we had to move over Christmas and I still don't have a job.

I too am on limited funds, but I will add what I can. Usually the books I add no one is interested in. :o(

Have you considered going to a membership type of fee to participate in receiving a book to review? It is still cheaper than going out an purchasing the book. Another thought would be to assign a fee to participate in a specific book review with the minimum $2.

Just a suggestion or two. I hope people are donating if they can.
